What is Forex?

The foreign exchange market, popularly known as Forex, is the decentralised international market for buying and selling currencies.  It is the simultaneous buying of one currency and selling of another at an agreed exchange price on the over-the-counter market.  Forex transactions worth trillions of dollars take place every day, currencies are traded by a global network of banks, dealers and brokers, which means you can trade any time, 24 hours a day. The enormous volume of daily trades makes it the most active and liquid market in the world, which means price movements can happen very quickly, making currency trading not only the largest financial market in the world, but also one of the most volatile. Forex prices are influenced by a range of different factors, including interest rates, inflation, government policy, employment figures and demand for imports and exports.  This means that currency prices are constantly fluctuating in value against each other, offering multiple trading opportunities.

What is Managed Accounts?

Forex Managed Accounts are fully segregated accounts individually owned by each client at a brokerage firm, but managed and traded by a professional trader or a group of professional traders with years of experiences and verified results on behalf of the client in exchange for a monthly percentage of the profits on the account.  If there is no profit, there is no fee.  There is no other costs, fees or charges.  Trading account is transparent and secure, clients retain full control over their accounts at all times, as their traders are granted “trade only” access to the accounts.  No 3rd party have access to client’s funds, only the client (account holder) is authorized to withdraw from the trading account, transfer or deposit more capital into the trading account.

Why Managed Accounts?

Managed Forex Accounts are perhaps the best possible way to participate with professionals in the Forex markets. Experience and skill, which can only be gained through long-term involvement in the markets, is the only asset that can reduce or even negate the large risks associated with currency trading. Emotional intelligence, involved in Forex trading cannot be mastered by everyone, because each person has a different character profile and some are more prone to emotional extremes than others.  Therefore, won’t be able to evaluate the market independently nor having the necessary confidence but a professional trader can help overcome this problem.  Time is another issue that discourages new traders from seriously committing to currency trading.  A full-time account manager who can devote all his energies to trading for his clients is another positive aspect of this approach. In addition, there are the risk profiles and past track records of different traders to provide guidance on potential future returns and their trading skills.  This may help you choose the best portfolio for yourself.
